It became dust

The dream of a universal connectiviness is now over.

Such dream was about making the world smaller, shortening distances and causing the reduction of the importance of the places. Anytime-anyplace connectiviness was the argument that old futurologists used to consider the dissolution of the city, in a new age in which a virtual space would parallel the real, being prominent.

Just to consider a small argument about such dream (as a matter of fact, confused and obscure dream, since the analogies to spatial issues has caused more confusion than cleaning out the ideas) I come to an analysis of the Wireless Sensor Networks technologies usage, which is a contrast to anytime-anyplace universality, being intermittent and local, and more, much more, real and not a dream. Should you have any interest, see.
